Not sure which tier you qualify for?
Resume-only clients (Foundation, or resume only): You are eligible for the Foundation Update only. Since LinkedIn was never part of our work together, there is nothing to update there — Core and Pro are not available to you at this time.

Resume + LinkedIn clients (Core, Pro, or any package that included both): You may choose the Core or Pro Update depending on what you want refreshed. The tier name doesn’t need to match your original package — it just needs to reflect the services we actually built together.

These update services are designed for clients who have added one or two new roles since we last worked together. Adding more than two positions significantly expands the scope — it requires deeper formatting work, restructuring, and more substantial edits to the overall document strategy.

If you have added three or more positions since our last engagement, a new résumé package is the right move. It ensures your document gets the full attention it deserves rather than a quick patch.

Your confirmation email will include an onboarding link. Open it, select “Returning Client,” and complete the form with your updated information.

There’s no need to schedule a meeting. Provide your new roles, dates, and accomplishments through the form and I’ll take it from there.

I’ll be in touch within 48 business hours with either your completed update or any clarifying questions needed to finish it right.

What to include
in your form.

What to have ready

Exact title, company, and dates for each new position.
Job descriptions for each new role, or a comparable posting with notes on how your role differed.
At least 3 accomplishments per role. Rough notes are completely fine — I will refine and strengthen them.
Any specific target roles you’re aiming for, if you want the update to be tailored.

When to consider a new package instead

You are making a meaningful industry or function change.
You have added more than two positions since we last worked together.
Your overall narrative, positioning, or brand story has shifted significantly.
You want to add services you didn’t originally purchase, like LinkedIn for the first time or interview coaching.

Common questions

Who is this page for?+

This page is exclusively for clients who have previously worked with area|Talent. If you are a new client, please visit the Packages page to get started.

Can I choose the Core or Pro Update if I only had my résumé done?+

No. The Core and Pro updates include LinkedIn, which means we need to have an existing LinkedIn profile on file that we built together. If your original engagement was résumé only, you are eligible for the Foundation Update. If you'd like to add LinkedIn for the first time, that would be treated as a new service.

What if my original package name doesn’t match the update tier?+

The tier names are guides, not a strict match. What matters is what we actually built together. If your original package included both a résumé and LinkedIn, you can choose either Core or Pro regardless of what your original package was called.

What if I have added more than two positions?+

More than two positions goes beyond the scope of an update service. Three or more new roles requires deeper restructuring, formatting, and editorial work — the kind of effort that warrants a full new package rather than a patch. Please reach out and we can find the right fit.

Do I need to schedule a call?+

No. After purchasing, your confirmation email will include an onboarding link. Select “Returning Client,” complete the form, and you’re done. I’ll follow up within 48 business hours with your completed update or any questions.

How long does it take?+

Most updates are completed within 48 business hours, excluding weekends. More complex updates or those requiring follow-up questions may take slightly longer, but I will always communicate proactively.
